Community Programs
Supporting Diversity and Integration
Founded in 2022, First Thousand Members Club was created by a Haitian immigrant and her husband to support cultural diversity, provide educational opportunities, and help integrate immigrants into Junction City. Your donation helps us further our mission by funding key initiatives, including cultural events, educational programs, and community support services, creating a more inclusive environment for everyone.
Making an Impact
Our organization has made a significant impact with $5,000 in tuition aid for Haitian children, over 5,000 volunteer hours, and valuable support for immigrant and military families.
Cultural Events & Workshops
From cultural workshops to our signature Harmony Fest, we host events that celebrate the diverse cultures within our community, providing an enriching experience for everyone.
Supporting Local Cuisine
We support local restaurants by showcasing international cuisine during our events, offering a chance to explore new flavors, discover unique dishes, and promote global understanding.
Vibrant Performances & Art
Our events feature vibrant cultural performances and captivating art exhibitions, allowing local artists and performers to share their talents and stories with the community.
Fun for the Whole Family
We strive to make every event enjoyable for all ages, offering fun activities for the whole family, creating lasting memories, building friendships, and fostering community connections.
Why We’re Here
Junction City’s multicultural identity, shaped by the presence of Fort Riley and Kansas State University, drives our mission to create a more welcoming and thriving community for everyone.
